Thyroid update...

It's been awhile since I've posted about my thyroid. Yesterday I went in for a blood draw to see where my levels are at. My TSH was at a 2.7. Its still within the normal range, but in the high normal range. A few months ago, my TSH was a .7. My doctor said that its fine for now.

Lately, I've been battling insomina. I kinda wonder if its thyroid related or not. Life gets really hard when you are only sleeping every other night. When I see the endocrinologist I'm gonna ask him about it. Other than not sleeping very well, I've been feeling pretty good.

Today I went in for an ultrasound of my thyroid. It was actually a very good experience. The radiology tech was actually still in school finishing up his training at Weber State doing the outreach program. The SAME program I want to do. It was good to chat with someone who is doing what I want to do eventually. He told me the program is not too hard which is music to my ears. I worry sometimes cause I'm not super smart. I'm glad to hear so many positive things about the program.

Jenni,

I understand EXACTLY how you feel about school!!! I want to start in Aug 09 and I'm soooo scared. Plus I'm 45 and starting all over again. I keep remembering what someone once told me about being older and getting a degree, you are going to get older anyways so why not get older and have your degree. I hope that makes sense. I'm going to be 50 regardless so why not take those babysteps in the meantime and have my associates by the time I get there.

Love your blog, Remington is so cute. Thanks for letting me peek at your life.

I think you'll do wonderfully in school. Glad you're still in a "normal" range, and I hope you drop down to where you'd like to be.
