On Saturday, I ran my first 5K. All day I was SuPeR DuPeR nervous. Once I got running, I started feeling better about everything. Some of my fears was "what if I get lost" or "what if I'm the very last one to finish the race". None of those happened. I ran with in my goal even though I ended up getting the flu early that week & didn't get to train at all. Nate & my good friend Megan ran as well.
My finishing time was 45 minutes & 17.5 seconds. That was around what I expected since I do a 15 minute mile. Nate finished with 33 minutes & 32.5 seconds. GO NATE!
Here are some pictures from the race. It was so much fun! We plan on running another 5K in two weeks!!!!!
The whole gang...
Thumbs up

I ran with this girl for a good 15 minutes.
Just as I was coming to the finish-line. Yay!

It is official!
Tonight I just signed up for my first 5K! I'm excited & nervous at the same time. So far I'm running 2 miles. I know for the 5K I will have to walk some, but hopefully not a lot. My running schedule till the 5k looks like this:
Fri (16) - run 2 1/2 miles
Mon (19) - run 3 miles
Wed (21) - run 3 miles
I'll then take two days off of running then its the 5K on Sat the 24th. I'm not a fast runner yet. I probably walk faster than I run...lol, but I hope to finish in 45 minutes. My main goal though is to finish the race. :)

My son is weird!
After I change a poopy diaper, Rem always says this: "Bye poop, c-ya later poop, I love you poop. Is he weird or what?
On a side note, I have to say I'm tired of changing diapers but this boy refuses to be potty trained!!! Whenever I try to do the potty thing he says one of two things: "I don't like it" or "I scared mommy". Waaah!
At least, Rem is officially done w/ his binky. Nate and I hid them all one night and I can say now he is DONE w/ that a month before his 3rd b-day.
