Freezer Meals

This Saturday I got together with some of my friends and we made some freezer meals together. It was so much fun! It was so worth it for the cost too! There was four of us and we made 7 meals each. It only cost $25 dollars per person. Talk about a steal!

So I was wondering for those who do freezer meals, what are your favorite recipes? What stuff do you think freezes the best?

Rems eyes

Okay so hopefully I can get some suggestions here. This morning Rem woke up with some really red circles around his eyes. What could it be?

Pee in the Potty!

Thats right! This evening Rem peed in the potty for the very first time. For the past few days, I have been taking Rem to the potty every few hours. More so to get him used to the idea. Well after our trip to Wal-mart I decided to some potty time with him. As we sat there, I heard something. Could it be? Yes, it was pee. Wahooo! Rem was rewarded w/ snickers & M&Ms.

Today we went to Walmart to pick up our Thanksgiving turkey. I decided to see if they had the Gerber training pants that my friends have been talking about. They had them, but they only ones they had in his size were the girl ones. They'll do for now. I just don't know when to introduce the training pants. Should I wait until he is more comfortable going on the potty or just do it now? After all, he is only two so not a huge rush. I do like the idea of saving money on diapers though.

Birthday Party Pics!

Yesterday Remingtons birthday party was way fun! All went well except I couldn't find the #2 candle I had bought the day before. So we just put two individual candles on it instead. Being that Rem didn't take a nap, he started getting grumpy after he opened his first present. I'll upload the videos this week so you'll know what I mean.

Happy Birthday Remington!

Remington has grown up so fast. He is now 2 years old & almost half my size...lol! I think he will be taller than mommy one day. I hate how time goes by so quickly. I still call Rem "my baby" but I know he is growing into a precious little boy. I love him so very much. I love being able to see him grow into a sweet boy and all the fun we have together. Our days are full of singing, signing, learning, & sesame street. I'm not sure when we'll be able to have another baby in our house so I'm grateful that he still enjoys cuddling & rocking with mommy in the rocking chair. Remington brings a smile to our faces each and every day. Life would be no fun without our little Remington.

Voting & snow

Yesterday morning Nate went to vote. The person he voted for isn't the one who won the election. I didn't vote because I waited too long to register. I'm not sure if I would of gone anyway due to the bad weather. Anyways, when Nate got back Rem wanted to wear his "I voted" sticker.

When we woke up this morning there was about an inch of snow on the ground. I knew Rem would want to play in it. So I got him up & we were outside at 8:30 am. First time, I've been dressed and ready that early in the morning...lol! Here are some shots we got of him in the snow.

I was hoping we would get more snow later on today but we didn't. I'm sure lots of snow will come soon enough. I'm just excited to make a snowman eventually with Remington.

Halloween

We had a pretty good Halloween. We did do a lot of travelling to visit Nates parents & my grandparents. Rem & I (Nate was still at work) went to Nates dads work and went to a Halloween party there. It was fun. Then we headed down to my Grandmas for some yummy soup & Rem got to do some trick or treating with my Grandpa. We also played a game of ticket to ride and finally one my first game...yay!

Did you know that Otter pops are the perfect Halloween treat? LOL! My Grandparents were running out of candy so Nate ran to the store & they had no candy left. So Nate tried finding a good substitute and that was OTTER POPS. Believe it or not, when given the choice between M&Ms and otter pops the trick or treaters would usually pick Otter pops first.

Pumpkin Patch

A couple of weeks ago I went to a playdate with some of my friends. Even though, we didn't really stick together it was a lot of fun. Sadly, I didn't get any pictures of Rem with any pumpkins...lol!
