Change of plans!

In my last post, I wrote about getting an colonoscopy. Well I'm going to put that off for now. I want to get a second opinion from a GI specialist first. If he said the procedure is necessary then off I go to be tortured, but if its not then no sense to have to deal w/ that!!!

More snow here in utah! I got some pictures of Remington playing in it! Actually crying in it! He HATED the snow! Oh well! He'll like it when he gets older.

Dr. Appointment!

I had another doctors appointment today! I went to check up on my weight and to follow up on my diarrhea problem. I'm still gaining weight, which is good! I'm still having problems w/ my bowels so I'm gonna go and have an colonoscopy done on Monday! I'm scared! My weight today was at 83 lbs. I'm still going up so thats a good thing! I also had my flu shot! Fun fun fun!

Since I finished that blanket for Remington I've been in a crafty mood so I'm learning how to cross stitch now! Right now I am cross stitching Noah's Ark. I think it will take me a few weeks to finish it but I will post it as soon as I am done w/ it!

I'm doing sooo well w/ my driving! I'm getting soooo excited about the idea of having my license! Today I drove to the doctors appointment and it went really well! Oh I also drove to the pharmacy too! Well thats all thats new for now!

Learners Permit!

Yesterday I finally got my Learners Permit. Whooo hooo! I have a road test scheduled on November 15th. Hopefully I will be ready by then. Driving makes me nervous but I'll be sooo happy to have my license so I can go places during the day while Nate is at work.

Other than getting my Learners Permit nothing else is really going on. I'm gonna make Remington one of those no-sew fleece blankets for his Birthday. I'm excited about that. Oh and yesterday Remington pulled down our dvd player (sits on top of the tv). I was on the phone w/ the DMV. I walk out for a minute and then ((CRASH)). Rem was ok and so was the dvd player, but i'm thinking now that we need to get an entertainment center soon so we can hide all those wires. Rem doesn't crawl yet but he finds a way to get to things he wants! Crazy!

Doctors appointment!

Today I had another Dr's appointment. Basically it was just to check how I was doing. Right now I am taking half a dosage of Remeron to get my weight up. He said that was good and its good that I'm gaining weight. When I started the medicine, I was 78 lbs and now I am 81 lbs. So I have gained 3 lbs. The dr said that is a good weight gain and I shouldn't be gaining more then that in a 2 wk period. I hope to get up to 100 lbs w/ this medicine, but we will see how it goes. He didn't check my thyroid today cause it usually takes 4 wks for it elevate at all. So I will go back in two weeks to get that done. Oh I'm hoping soooo much that it stays in a normal range.

Next week, I'm gonna try to make it to the DMV to get my LP so I can start practicing my driving. I really need my license and its been kinda difficult to practice when I've been sick. I hope I can stay feeling well so I can get this taken care of.

I'm also hoping to get my husband to let me take this Medical Transcription course so I can start working from home. I would LOVE to try to make an extra income. It would be nice too cause we wouldn't have to pay for daycare. I could work and still be with Rem!
