Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam!

Can you believe Rem is going to be a Sunbeam?!? This is all new to me especially since I didn't grow up in the Church. I'm still sooo excited for Rem! He is getting older. My little boy is growing up. Kind of a sad, but happy feeling.

On Sunday, when Nate went to pick up Rem from Nursery he was the only one NOT wearing his Sunbeam hat. LOL! Totally not surprised. He isn't a fan of having things on his head. I tried getting him to wear it for a quick picture, but that wasn't gonna happen. Oh well -- the good news is every now and then he will blurt out "Sunbeam" like they do in the primary song. I ask him if he is going to be a Sunbeam and he tells me "yes". Too cute!

Merry Christmas!

We had a great Christmas. Rem really enjoyed it this year. He loved all his presents! His big gift from us was James Legos (from Thomas the Train). He also got a ton of monster trucks. Two of his favorite things.

Christmas Eve, we had some of Nates family over for dinner. Nate made a yummy turkey like he does every year. We are still eating the leftovers. We played games, opened presents, and enjoyed each others company.

Christmas morning was a lazy day for us. Rem didn't wake up till 9am so we all slept in. I told Nate that this will probably be the last year that he will sleep in. I can just imagine Rem coming in at 5-6am in upcoming years to open his presents...hehehe. We opened gifts. Then hung around the house until we left to go to my Grandparents for Christmas dinner. It was a lot of fun! I just wish I could of gotten more pictures.

Every year I wish I could go home for Christmas! Maybe one year we will, but probably won't happen for awhile. Plane tickets are EXPENSIVE! Its just hard since the last time I visited my family was in 2005. I'm not complaining just get a little home sick this time of year!

Baptism

I have to share a moment we had with Remington yesterday. We went to go see Nates little brother, Dustin, get baptized. Once Dustin was ready to be baptized, I let Rem get close so he can watch. Rem watched pretty closely... and when Dustin was done Rem said....

"MY TURN"

We tried to tell him that he has to wait until he is 8 years old. But he kept on saying "my turn, my turn". I said in 5 years you can be baptized. He wasn't happy with that. He finally calmed down after awhile, but I thought it was so funny that he wanted to go.

Rem is 3!

Remingtons birthday was on November 6th. He denies the fact that it was his birthday or that he actually turned 3. If you ask him how old he is, he will say "2". LOL! We celebrated his birthday at my Grandparents house. Which was a HUGE blessing since I've been sick for the past few weeks. We had a potato bar for dinner, ice cream cake for dessert, and presents. Rem had a lot of fun at his party!

Happy Halloween!

On Halloween, we went over to Grandma Carolyns for dinner & Nate took Rem trick-or treating after dinner. I didn't go with them because I'm sick once again. It was fun this year because Remington understood more. Rem gave us a hard time w/ taking pictures so these are the best shots we got.
