I love vinyl lettering! I just haven't got around to putting any in my home yet. I think they look way cute in a home. Someone I know who has a vinyl lettering business is doing a giveaway on their blog so I thought I'd tell everyone about it.

Nate & I are currently training for a 5K. We actually both finished our first day of running & hopefully it will keep up.
I am following the Couch to 5K plan outlined here. I really like it because you can download each week on your ipod or mp3 player and it will tell you when to walk & run. I think its pretty awesome.
We are planning on running a 5K on October 24 & November 26
The other day I was eating breakfast with Remington. Every now and then, I ask Rem what his name is. I usually just get a "ummm" but this time he actually said it and I got it on video too! Yay! Rem has been going to daycare a few days a week since May & ever since he started going his vocabulary has grown so much! I personally feel like its his preschool (which he would be going to if his Birthday was just a few months earlier). Anyways, enjoy the video!!!!
Today we went down to the mall. We went down there to look for a nice interview shirt (I haven't gotten an interview yet, but now I have something cute to wear). It only cost $4 too. Yay! Anyways back to my story....
I started getting really hungry at the mall so we went up to the food court that has a train that kids can ride for $3. So we ate some lunch & I let Rem watch the train since I didn't want to go an ATM & pay the transaction fee just so he could ride the train. Rem ended up walking around the food court & waved to this older man. Rem likes waving and saying hi to people. Then Rem found some coin rides that I let him sit on (w/o putting money in it).
After a few minutes the older man that Rem waved too came up to us & said since Rem was so kind to say HI to him that he wanted to give Rem money to ride the train. I just said, "Thanks, thats so nice of you". So Rem got his train ride. It made me think, "do we look poor"? Or something. It was VERY nice of him to give Rem money to ride the train. I just kind of wonder what he was thinking. Did he feel sorry for Rem that we wouldn't let him ride it? Who knows. Anyways, Rem enjoyed the train ride. The only problem is we had to fight him to get him off of it. Haha.
I found this on one of the message boards on Babycenter. I thought it was pretty funny so I decided to post it here. Hope you get a laugh out of it.
Two little kids are in a hospital, lying on stretchers next to each
other outside the operating room (the first surgeries of the day).
The first kid leans over and asks, "What are you in here for?"
The second kid says, "I'm in here to get my tonsils out, and I'm a
little nervous."
The first kid says, "You've got nothing to worry about. I had that
done when I was four. They put you to sleep, and when you wake
up they give you lots of Jell-O and ice cream. It's a breeze."
The second kid then asks, "What are you here for?"
The first kid says, "A circumcision."
"WHOA!" the second kid replies. "Good luck buddy. I had that done when I was born. Couldn't walk for a year."
