Yesterday Rem had his 18 month check up & had to catch up on his shots. He had to get 4 of them. I think he knew what was coming as soon as the doctor left. He was already crying before the Medical Assistant came in with the shots. After the shots, he really wasn't happy! Boy, shots are so much easier when they are newborns! Rem was ripping off bandaids left & right. I didn't bother putting his shoes back on cause he was sooo upset. After we left the examination room, Rem was okay. The doctor gave him some stickers & crayons. No lollipop at this doctors office.
Anyways, everything went fine at the doctors office. Rem is a very healthy boy. I guess I have all the health issues for the whole family...hehehe! I also told the doctor that I'm delaying the MMR. So he won't get that until he is 2. Mainly, I just worry too much! lol.
Rem did well last night too tolerating his shots. I gave him infant motrin every six hrs including when he woke up at 3:30am. Oh & since he tolerated the shots so well we took a trip to walmart to pick out a toy car. We also bought him a kiddie pool he can play in when it gets warmer out.
On Wednesday, I went to get Remingtons haircut. It looks good (shorter than most of his haircuts though) but was tramatic for Rem. The lady that cut his hair nicked both of his ears. Then she told me their skin are more sensitive. All I could think, this didn't happen with his last 4 haircuts. Oh well. She did give Rem a lollipop & a comb.

Cute hair cut. I never like taking my kids to get shots. They love the doctor and the nurses but they hate shots. Also they are stronger then me so I have a hard time holding them down. Hope things are going good with you guys.
